Subject: Head Bolt Question

I'm about to pull the engine from my '3A (wasn't going to, but I've come
this far and can't figure out how to paint the engine bay right with the
engine in the way). Anyway, neither the front or rear lift bracket is
installed on the engine. Happen to have both in the spare parts bin though.
To my question...

Is it really bad idea to remove one head bolt (rear, next to the heater
valve), install the bracket, and re-torque? I'm planning NO engine work so
the head will not otherwise be removed. Can I get away with this or am I
asking for trouble? Engine won't be started for quite some time...maybe
between now and then, it'll forget that I loosened the bolt? :^)

Thanks, folks!
