Non TR specific but for engines in general. 

A cylinder head is pretty ridged so removing one bolt then re installing 
usually isn't a problem.  Just don't remove the bolt then go looking for the 
bracket, the longer the head sits with a missing bolt the greater chances of 
the head lifting up and breaking the seal.

Loosening bolts on something less ridged like a two bolt water outlet could 
cause a leak.  But something that small is easy to remove and replace the 
gasket if a bolt must come off.
