I have been trying to diagnose the problems with my 76ish TR6 and I am at my
wits end.

The symptoms are pretty simple. There is no spark from the coil.

I have replaced the coil. Still no spark.
I have tested the ignitor on another TR6. It works there.
I have charged the battery. Still no spark.
I have tested the voltages in the system. 12.7 into the coil. 1.7o across
the coil (old) and 2.4o (new).
I have jumped the coil directly from the battery. No spark.
I have used different plug wires. No spark.
I have checked the point plate ground in the dizzy (I was running out of
ideas) and it is grounded. No spark.
My friend verified the potency of the coil using the 'how far up into my
body cavity will my nuts climb if I get shocked' test. The new coil is very
solid according to his considerable experience with that particular test.

I need ideas. My next step is to buy a new ignitor as that is the only
thing I can think to do. I hate to just throw money at a problem though.
Thoughts?

Also, I ran a cold dry compression test on my TR6 and came up with 147lbs
+-1lb across all 6. The page in my Haynes manual I need to reference is
missing. Any help on appropriate compression would be appreciated.
