Hi Jon,

Welcome to the list, I've been hanging around here for about 6 or 7 years 
now and you'll find this is the best resource ever for these cars.
As to price for this piece do shop around a bit as many, many TR 7's have 
been scrapped. One source for NLA pieces is Triumphs Only in San Jose, CA. 
The owner Wayne Bier has lots of parts cars and can usually be persuaded to 
part with a piece at a reasonable price, on a good day;^)

That said I will be suprised if someone on the list doesn't offer to send 
you one for the price of postage or less (it's that kind of list)!

Unless this piece is really rare and I just don't know it I can't imagine it 
being worth more than about $20 bucks. If it's more than that let me know, 
maybe I can make something up since I'm in Mesa too.
