I was the person who started the recent thread on headers
(I thought I wanted them for my TR6 as part of a high-performance
rebuild). Here's what I got out of the discussion (I do not know
if this all applies to a Spitfire):
1. An economical header won't fit and won't last.
2. The only header to get is $tainless $teel.
3. There are no economical $tainless $teel headers.
YMMV.
