Recognising the flexibility of the English language (in it's many
varied forms) and it's amazing adaptability for the double-entendre
(thank you France) this subject heading could lend itself admirably to
thread interest level.
Some can get "just plain boring" while others approaching such a level
might be construed as "just plain honing?"
Perhaps in future as listers may be inclined to request a return to
topic, a sign-off along the lines of "I'm beginning to feel honed"
would not be out of place?
On second thoughts, this might precipitate another avalanche of
queries as to the meaning.....
