Hi Kai,

I don't doubt for one minute what everyone is telling me about the
Michelins. They are crap.

But to me the TR250 is a special car. I bought it new, and it's just
special to me compared to a TR6. And I want to buy a TR6. I like them. I
hope to have one soon.

But to me it's like the difference bewteen an MGB and an MGA. I'm not
sure I would put a SuperCharger in an MGA, but I would put one in my MGB
body shell in a sec.

So to me, if it was a TR6 I would not even consider the Michelins. But
for the Royal Blue TR250 that I drove off the show room floor when I was
21, back in October of 1968, I am very seriously thinking about it.

Or the top. If it were a TR6 I would get Jim Davis' AABest StayFast top.
Nicest one I ever saw. But for my TR250, I'm getting a Robbins with
correct TR250 stripes (I know, I know....and a zip down window). Go figure.

And then there's that racing stripe that I polished off in 1975 and
swore would never return....or will it...
