Hard to say for sure, but it's pretty bad. Going home on the 91 freeway
Monday evening : traffic stopped, I stopped, the guy behind me didn't stop.
At least not until his bumper was about where I had been sitting !

Got pushed into the car in front of me, so it's wrecked at both ends. Frame
can probably be straightened, tub might be salvageable but it's buckled over
the RR tire well. Front apron *might* be worth saving, but I doubt it
seriously. Both right fenders are gone, as is the rear clip. Drivetrain
seems OK, not even leaking water, but I only drove it a couple of hundred
feet as the front apron was keeping the RF tire from turning left of center.
The yellow stuff leaking out proved to be apple juice from the broken
bottles in the trunk.

I'm fine, but I'm gonna miss my car !

Haven't really started the fight with the ins co yet, but we'll see how it
goes. There's no doubt the guy behind me was at fault, he even told the CHP
on the scene that he took his eyes off the road to get a Coke. And the law
says he must "make me whole", which means I either get my car repaired or
another one like it.

Any bets on whether we wind up in court ?

Randall
