I bought Kumho from tirerack.com They seem to be just fine on the road.
The front tires on the TR4 chunk on the edges just a bit when pushed hard
in autocross, but this car only sees a couple of autocrosses a year. Good
enough for a trophy at VTR in 2002. This model is the "Euro Metric". I
think it has been superseded at Tire Rack by a newer Kumho model in 165-15.
I have various models of Kumhos on three of my four vehicles now. The
Kumho "Touring" tires on the Saturn are great in the dry, better than OK in
the wet and iffy in snow. The Lotus has Kumho "Ecsta 700" autocross
stickies. The Suburban came with fairly-new BFG "Land Terrain" (isn't
that redundant?)tires which work OK all year around.
