My reference is to the thin strip of material used to bind the edge not
something like the vinyl that is used on the handbrake. It's just a guess.
Has anyone ever seen a colored shift boot rubber??? I doubt it. Besides it's
mostly all hidden below the Dash Support opening. It doesn't make any sense
that it would be a colored piece hidden under the console.
