Mark,

It didn't get any better with the 1986 Pontiac Sunbirds, all 4 door bottoms
rotted away and too numerous brake and overheating problems. My daughter
used it eventually for a school car and would tell me the odometer would run
backwards as did one of her girlfriends Sunbird. Never believed it until I
witnessed it myself. It sort of stayed at about 86,000 miles plus or minus
2000.

POS and turned me away from GM cars which up until then I always bought. To
be fair I had a 98 GMC Jimmy company car which ran well until I sold it at
198,000 miles. Some normal issues at 150,000.
