I think the bottle & holder used on the TR4A looks period correct on the 
earlier TRs -- moreso than the FLAPS variety.  Once in ahwhile TRF has 
the whole kit on sale (bottle, cap, holder). Won't work unless you get a 
radiator cap for a closed system or modify your current cap.

I put one on the (late) TR4 because the radiator lacks the big header 
tank/neck of the TR3s & early TR4.  IMO that extra space for expansion 
lets you have a such full radiator w/o overflow that an overflow tank 
seems less necessary.
