I have a set of TR4 AMCO wind wings that I got off eBay (sorry if it
was the set you were after). The mounting hardware is very simple,
and could probably be fabricated by a reasonably competent amateur
machinist. They did require a bit of fiddling to mount because they
attach to the same thin metal edge that the fuzzy weatherstrip
occupies.

Pros: They definitely reduce wind buffeting around the sides of the
windshield, and I think they look very cool.

Cons: they are a PITA if you want to roll up the windows (like if its
raining) because you have to either swing them inside of the windows,
or leave them outside and not be able to roll the windows all the way
up. Also, if you have the wind wings out with the windows partially
up and forget to roll the windows down before you open the door,
you'll get a deep arched scratch in the plexiglas. Ask me (and my
wife) how I know - it was one of our darker moments. I'm inclined to
take them off when top up weather arrives (which may be in December
here in Texas).

Hope this is helpful.
