Corey, I have a similar desk-top blast cabinet from HF, P/N 45411-1VGA. It
works reasonably well for me, I'm not sorry I didn't spend 3 or 4 times as
much on a better cabinet.

What I do wish is that I had a bigger compressor. My old 110v Sanborn
(which ISTR is rated for around 8.8 cfm @ 90 psi but probably doesn't
deliver that much any more) won't run the blast cabinet for more than a
minute or two, which is rarely enough time to finish a part (for me at
least).

Don't forget that you will need blast media, and media choice is important.
I've been using glass beads (since I was doing aluminum), which leave a
lovely finish but work slow. The Black Beauty (coal slag) that FT
recommends would probably be much more satisfactory for parts that are to be
painted/powder coated afterwards.

Sand is reputedly a very bad choice, as the fractured grains create tiny
slivers of glass that can wind up embedded in your lungs and lead to
silicosis (an irreversible condition that destroys lung function).

I also added a light, some air plumbing, and a quick connect to my blast
cabinet.
