Great calculation on the oil/electric , however the oil fired unit needs the
electricity cost factored in too making it even more costly.
Randal, the incoming temp is not a factor if we are just comparing fuel costs
as the parameters are the same for each unit. Yes, I was aware a fuel based
unit can have greater tank losses but I consider the different minimal unless
we have hard data from the manufacturer.
