Hi List!
I submitted a thread to the list & had an advertisement installed at the end
of the E-mail. [Which I'd like to have removed, but don't know how.]

Another person took this advertisement & started another thread what had
NOTHING to do with the content in my thread, but refereed to it with my name
being involved.
Another person added to this thread, stating that I did not write it, but was
a trailing advertisement.

I have been miss quoted on this list several times over the past years. Some
good & some bad, that I never written.

I must admit that I do have a tendency to want to reply to different
threads 'Right a way' instead of finish reading the Digest. [Which could cause
problems.] I do this because it's to hard for me to go back to reread each
E-mail in the digest again to reply to the certain threads I wish to add to.
[This is why I E-mail directly to the person than add it to the list.] Some
members would say: 'Don't reply if you're on the digest'. But there have been
many members who have thanked me for replying to them on their thread. Just to
confirm several different replies that they have received or because no one
else has replied to their thread.

My point is, Example: One person writes something or conveys a message that
is miss interpreted & is connected with another person's name or their name.
Another person chimes in that refutes this statement. Then a reply is returned
& so on to the point of an argument is started over a 'tyranny of words'. IMO
this is NOT GOOD! Then other members have a tendency to get up set with what
has transpired [who had NOTHING to say or do with the thread], & they drop from
this list. This is ashamed, because I feel we can all be helpful to each. We
have lost MANY knowledgeable people because of this & therefore we have lost
much valuable information that could have been shared to this GREAT List.

I'm NOT trying to start something. I just want to make the list aware that a
simple misunderstanding can expedite to ill will & we all ended up suffering
from it.
