I=E2=80=99ll second that from Bud. When I took my hardtop off I had two =
round marks that wouldn=E2=80=99t come off from the round buffers on the =
bottom of the hardtop. A few other marks near the mounting rim too, but =
those were hidden by the convertible top frame. I=E2=80=99m ok with it =
as I like going back and forth between the two and am not a concours =
perfect fanatic. My 6 is for driving!

One of the ways your TR6 will be transformed is the potential for =
scratches on the rear deck panel from the hard top riding on that rear =
panel. I quickly got rid of my hardtop because of that problem. You can =
try to protect the paint will a barrier of sorts but then the hardtop =
won't seal properly. The hardtop does make the TR6 look like a cool GT =
car but it is a semi permanent with pluses and minuses and the rear deck =
may suffer.

A friend is looking at an OEM hardtop for his TR6 =E2=80=93 Any idea =

I=E2=80=99ve not seen any for sale recently except for those crappy =
fiberglass ones (Parrish? $450 - $700) but=20

he=E2=80=99s not interested in one of those. I understand that condition =
of the top will dictate the price but=20

he=E2=80=99s looking for a ballpark figure. Thanks.
