That was one crazy thing I ran into last time. Now I have the proper
gloves for you guys(and I like them too!)

Actually, much of the variation in perparation is simply whose rules you
run by. My '57 Alfa Spider is prepped to VSCCA preservation class, which
is minimal, while my '62 that I bring to Mosport, is SVRA rules, only
slightly more liberal than the SCCA rules we originally ran under. The
Hoosiers, BTW, approximate the Goodyear BlueStreaks we ran on the car
originally in the mid-60s. Not sure if they are stickier, but certainly
last a lot longer!
