nice, there are some basics which along with seat time and skills will
reward you more. The nice part about vintage racing, however, is it has
something for everyone.

Getting some face time with someone who has run a BMC A-Series successfully
would be worth the time and effort before you spend lots of money in the
wrong direction which is very easy to do in the early stages. There are
also a number of reputable engine builders that might offer you some
guidelines.
