To all racers...a reliable source now tells me... that the Summit Point
incident isn't as critical as was previously described...lots of dust..as
someone went wide through the turn... but the course appears to be clear
ahead....just watch for some remaining debris as you go around again...until
the track gets completely cleaned up!
FYI...Bill Scott has made overtures to expand the Summit Point facility to
across the road...and there appears to be some mild opposition to that idea.
It is more or less just a business matter that needs to be explored a bit
further among all the SP parties.
Some great comments from the readership however..and certainly food for
future thought...should the alarm ever go off at your home track.
