newish racetracks. What ever happened to the planned purpose-built
road-racing facility that was to be built in Morgantown, PA.? If you
attended one of the VSCCA events in Philadelphia's Fairmont Park, you will
remember there was a big diorama of the track, etc. and I believe Mario
Andretti was involved in some way and was signing autographs. Anyone know
 where this project stands?

Hello,

That's a good question!! Here's what I was told by the guy trying to put the
thing together. (I signed on early, I'm a "Charter Member"). The landowner
changed his mind and decided not to sell the property to the group building
the track. This happened after the group had made quite a bit of progress
(doing site work, getting permits, etc). The deal seems to be dead as far as
Morgantown goes, but they were looking for other opportunities.

I just checked for any updates and the website (http://formulaclub.com) looks
like it is being dismantled.

Anyone else know anything?
