We all hold Carillo rods in such high esteem that I was surprised to learn
of two race engines failing last weekend because of apparent failures of
Carillo rods. That really has my curiosity aroused.
Of course, lack of lube will fail any rod, but other than that, does anyone
out there in listdom have knowledge of other failure modes?
