I think you'll loose all you brake fluid. If your Alpine is anything
like my Morgan. The switch is mounted in the engine compartment
at a hydralic jucntion block. The only thing you could do is to
try to find something to jam into the block when the switch is removed. You
could try a piece of dowl rod slightly tapered or if
you have any of the plugs they put in new wheel cylinders.
