The Rootes shop manual for the 1725cc vehicles includes the wiring
diagram for the series V. I purchased mine from either Classic
Sunbeam or Sunbeam Specialties, I think they both offer them. On mine
that line is a coolant drain, it has a valve at the end that is barely
accessible, still works though!

Hello,
I am currently having some trouble w/ the electrical on my series V and have
not been able to find a diagram for it. I am wondering if it is the same as
the seies IV. I am also wondering about a copper line on the carb side of
the engine that comes out of the block and ends underneath the alternator.
It looks like it has been cut. What is it's function?
