Hi, My name is Roger Gibbs, 41, married, two children, we live in Southern
California. About 15 years ago I purchased my brothers 1967 Alpine. Sad to
say that it has not been driven all that much in the last 12 years. I am
currently working on getting back on the road, although I have to admit that
it can be very tough finding the time , sounds like a lot of you are in
similiar positions. This is a special car for me, I learned to drive in it
and have very many fond memories of zipping around town in it with my
brother.
I have a degree in Electrical Engineering and am working at the Jet
Propulsion Lab (in Pasadena) in spacecraft design. Our current project is
the Cassini craft, scheduled to launch in the fall of '97 and destined for
Saturn.
I was very pleased to find this list and hope that the high quality posting
continue.
FWIW, I will be switching off of AOL in a few days (jsut as soon as I can get
my e-mail working with my new net provider).
