Paul, did this same conversion on my series five. I just bought brass
plugs and plugged off the water pump and the block. Didn't use the heater,
or the coolant lines at all. Car ran fine no problems. Just make sure you
get the manifold bolts tight especialy the center one and recheck them
after you run the car for awhile. I ran my smog hose out of the vacuum
fitting, didn't run the hydovac, for the brakes, because the car still had
to be smogged. I put the pcv valve inline in the smog hose. hope this
