Yeah!

On the Series II, one of the bolts had broken and fallen to the bottom of
the housing, along with the washer. They were later joined by the outside
ends of seven of the nine teeth from the pinion gear. Trouble was, mine
wasn't making any howling or clunking noise or anything. I found out when I
removed the rear-end for some general tiddying-up and derusting adventures a
couple of weeks ago . . . "Say, what's that clattering around inside there .
. . ?"
