When reboring to the biggest posseble oversizes, the material of cylinder
wall comes softer and softer. So resleeving is reasonable after two
oversizes (I quess..)
On the other hand, modern sleeves have better material than the original cast.
My old AJS/Norton twin blow her left piston two years ago. It came out,
that the piston was original, standard piston from 1960! It did last long,
and if I have known, I had changed it a long time ago. New ones are not
expensive, but a lost summer has no prize, when we humans are a short-aged
race...
