As I wrote a couple of weeks ago, I've decided to abandon the constant
tinkering and adjusting of the dual Stromberg CD150s and go for a single
carb on my Series V. Evidently the Weber 2 barrel that is sold by Sunbeam
Specialties, Pierce Manifolds and other vendors is not approved for use in
California, and because CD150s are still available, California will not
issue an "old car hard-to-find-original-parts" waiver. Does anyone have
any suggestions about how to use the Weber somehow without breaking the
law, or using a legal alternative?
