There has been lots of info on accuracy of speedometers on the list - I
have a question which is not directly related to Alpines.
I have a Ford minivan with the electronic instrumentation package
including on board computer.
Would I be naive to assume that because the speedometer reads out the
speed in nice large LED digits and LOOKS so precise - that it is more
accurate in all ranges - (totally accurate?) - than the old cable driven
units?
Or have I just been brainwashed by Big Bill and his pals at Intel into
thinking - if the computer says so - it must be right? [It reminds me
of a page out of a Charlie Brown calendar which my (ex) wife pasted on
the frig door - in which Lucy says "If everyone agreed with ME - they'd
all be right!" ):(> ]
[no my wife's name is not Lucy]
