Seems I toasted a bearing in my differential this summer and had the
differential sieze. (very exciting with wire wheels, you get to see one
then the other roll down the road past you as the rear end falls on the
road!) Anyway after replacing all of the bearings in the diff and
rebuilding, I still have a very bad vibration in the rear end. I didn't
think the pinion was bent when I rebuilt it but now I am not so sure.
The vibration is very bad when under power but almost non-existent when
coasting.
So I guess I am looking for a differential. I currently have 3.89 in
the car and would like to keep it the same. Anybody got one they are
willing to sell and for what price?
