Yep, and my apologies to my brethren Ian, my SV had that plastic as well.
The plastic sheet was laid into the side window channel, then the rubber
strip, then the glass. It hung down to the bottom of the door, without
attachment that I could see, at the bottom. It was not very thick stuff.
I would suspect that one of the thicker plastic garbage bags are stronger
material.
