Overdrive & rear ratios

Guys,
Last year I swapped my 4:22's in my series V with 3:89's. I run about 3400
rpm's at 55mph. Obviously, I don't have overdrive. My question is: Is it
okay for me to run it out on the highway near 4000 rpm's on a trip? While
the engine is very strong, it makes me nervous to constantly rev a motor
like that!!
