Also, a local autocrosser runs an Olds 266 stroker.  He's
run it for many seasons with no trouble.

Why not?  0.030" is usually safe.  Some have been taken out
to 0.060" but that's the max with no core shift.  My 215 is
0.030" over.  Rover's have less core shift and the 3.5's
can go usually go to 0.040".  3.9's and 4.2's have thinner sleeves
so overbore is limited.

215 rods, 300 heads, and Chevy 2.8L V6 pistons come out right at 10:1.
