Take this for what it's worth. An article I read said early synthetic oils did cause leaks in some engines. The engineers reformulated the additive package and included some that actually help reduce leaks. It didn't say if it helped 'rope' seals but it might be worth a try. Bill Kenyon SRL311 KA |
