A broken EZ-out can be removed by means of an acetylene torch.  You have to have
a small tip on the torch, know what you are doing and be very careful, but it
works.  I have seen a "maestro" do this: first he heated the EZ-out red hot with
just the base mix of gas, then hit it with the blast of oxygen and the EZ-out
just disintegrated and blew away into molten debris, leaving the bolt untouched.
But it was broken in the first place so who cares... LOL
