Chuck, I can give you a lot of contacts on the PI system, I've been a pretty
good student for this last year.
I'd say you're going to have to stay with the stock manifolds and injectors
for SOVREN.  If that weren't the case, I'd by a triple SU manifold and chuck
the PI.
The fuel pump issue I've been told can be resolved with a Bosch pump and
some modifications.
The only people I could find that knew anything about racing  Lucas PI id
Kinsler Injection.  Lucas has been and is till used on a lot of cars and
boats, especially on Chevy V-8's.  They're pretty knowledgeable (and not
cheap).  I don't know if you need them though, I think I had correspondence
with a FOT member in NZ that is pretty good with it also.
