Fortunately, I have the bucks this year to buy myself a Hans device.
To Tony's point, I have a 10 month old son and don't want to take any
chances with an accidental frontal impact. In 35 years of racing, my
car has never had a frontal impact but I'm extra paranoid with my
little one running around the house. In the TR3, no matter how much
safety equipment I wear, I still feel exposed to potential danger once
in a while.
