I suspect it is not economical racing anymore. With the SCCA Miatas in great
numbers in 5 or 6 classes which you can run in multiple classes at the same
event by simply changing tires... Every now and again we see a bugeye at a
vintage event. John Travers for instance... He's been racing them since they
were at the showroom, possibly! Spridgets run vintage too, VRG for instance.
Sadly some of those drivers are like Kamikazes to the older cars. Search
YouTube for "Filangeri yikes".
