I agree with Tom. If the car currently has an SU pump & it fails (after dec=
ades of reliable service) why replace it with an aftermarket pump and have =
to deal with mounting modifications, fuel line routing & connection modific=
ations, etc. when it is so much easier to replace it with another SU pump. =
If your concern is reliability on a road trip a spare SU can be installed i=
f needed in a short amount of time. Or as I have done, install & plumb a 2n=
d pump & switch so I can alternate between them on a long trip.
