I'm asking these two questions for a friend who is prepping a car for
Maxton/Bonneville.
1. The rules say the inner tubes are required in all tires, except for
racing tires, expressly designed for use without tubes. Are the Goodyear
Land Speed tires designed for use without tubes? I thought they were, but I
didn't know.
2. He needs a set of 4 steel wheels, properly constructed to meet the under
200 mph rules, with a 4.5 rim width and a early 1950's Packard bolt pattern.
Where should he go for wheels?
