Gee Rich, probably because flatheads held so many
records. hee hee hee Naw, just jokin, I laugh
because when i was first growing into hot rod
age, I wanted to build a flathead so bad I could
taste it, but I ended up with a Chebby stovebolt!
I mean, all good hot rods had flathead V-8s, and
there I was with a stupid six-banger! Funny
thing though, all but one of those flathead
jobbers ate my dust leaving school every day.
