As a kid I had a 78 rpm record that was recorded at Bonneville titled
"Sounds of Bonneville". (pretty basic) As I remember it was from 1959 or
60. It had sounds of everything from small bore 2-stroke motorcycles to
Mickey Thompson's Challenger I streamliner at 406 mph, plus everything in
between. Sweet sounds! Next year I finally plan to hear the real thing!!
I wish I still had that record!?!? I kept it for years until my "ex"
decided I had to many old dusty records and sold it for a quarter!
