this obvious controversial subject is very similar to a previous
question ie 'Why do you go to Bonneville'
Personally I'm an extreeeemly competitive person by nature. I go land speed
racing to go toe to toe in competition with my peers in a no holds barred
competition against a clock, but in one of the most pleasant of atmospheres
and surroundings ever in the world of auto racing. The camaraderie is
unmatched due to its total amateur status. I am going EFI, as this will
afford me greater chances at a red hat and ink in the book. But I tell you
what team; the day there are no more 'sidies' out there with triple 97
'leakers' I wont bother anymore because I love, enjoy and respect everyone
who has his or her personal, individual approach to our diverse sport.
