Tom I honestly believe allowing a Motor to do it's work at the desired Rpm
and keeping it in that range prevents wasting real estate.... ( this coming
from the guy who didn't have the shift points right )

the Richmond gear 6 speed is sitting on the shop floor right now for the
Bugeye... I doubt I will ever put it in the Camaro... but I might just for a
Test.... it's got a real nice pattern but an ugly overdrive in sixth.... so
I will use it as a 5 speed...  I have a couple of issues with it's shifter
and the only one made comes from Long.... it's just not very accurate.... or
that was my impression when it was in my sons truck..... K
