Chuck Rothfuss, Pole Cat Hollow, NC. When I was 11 years old I wanted to
be a "World traveling bum", and some may say I came close. Now 40 I'm a
retired USMC (too old and broken to make 30) Chief Warrant Officer. Spent
most of my time deep in the innards of fuel, charging, starting and
supercharger systems off just about anything that the Corps had that didn't
fly. Lotsa really odd jobs I was volunteered for, but that's another story.
Happily punched out last year with 50% disability and have been turning
wrenches at a local Chevy/Olds/Cadillac dealer ever since. That was my
wife's idea. I intended to do as little as possible after leaving the
Corps... this is about as little as I can get away with.

Other interests: ANYTHING mechanical, from steam threshers and hand
crank rope makers to modern aircraft. I've been having lots of fun with
autocrossing and land-speed racing, both in my long-time project car "USS
Wankel", a '71 Datsun RX510. I hope to retire it to hillclimbing next year
and campaign a new, slicker RX7 project. I'm a salt and fresh water
fisherman and primitive weapons hunter, although I never seem to have enough
time to enjoy these hobbies. I started really primitive, hunting with a
sling -ala David & Goliath- but have moved up to mostly black powder
firearms from the late 1800's. I'm also an incurable list-junkie, and just
love to see mail in my LSR mail box!!!

Chuck
