Well, it's not ugly to me. Some others have said
it was ugly though. Hell, it set the record!
That makes it really beautiful to me. It's a
gray-primered (over dings) 1968 that had the
number "729" and "Dick J from East Texas"
hand-lettered on the sides in blue. I'll be back
in the spring with Santa's money invested in a
new cam and some other mechanicals. I think the
"Birthday Fairy" is going to paint it for me this
summer (white with orange stripes - kinda like a
Z-28 Indy Pace Car), so when I show up at World
of Speed at Bonneville this coming fall, it will
look like a "real" car. ha ha
