This "guy" is far from the quittin' stage.

This sport needs to have a dynamic, robust membership from ALL OVER
THE GLOBE.

Thanks for the comments, it seems that  we'll put some more thought
and time into this, Oh, so outmoded, world record recognition
question.

May I gently remind all of you that we labor not just for those who
came before and are here now, but for those who don't even realize
they are land speed racers yet? It's all well and good to make things
comfy in the "now", but having spent so much time on the history of
the grand sport, I am resolved to see it experience a positive
paradigm in its future.
