Howdy, NASCAR racers are aware of the aero disadvantages of the exhaust
exiting the side of the cars, but can't do much about it. One of the race
tech magazines (lets see now ,93-94 ? I forget the name/date right now)
had an article about aero on them and mentioned the drag from the exhaust
coming out the side of the car...and how it affects the airstream for
several feet along side and behind the cars.....there is a fair amount of
thrust coming from the engines, it could be used to an advantage......I've
thought about it, but didn't like the idea of the hot pipe running directly
through my chest.......drive careful
