           Scripp-Booth was a low production car built in Detroit 1912-22. 
The early ones were two cylinder cyclecars. Later they had an overhead valve 
four in a mid size car. The V8 came out in 1916. The 1916 cloverleaf  
roadster is a sharp looking car. Sits low for its day, wire wheels, V shaped 
radiator, and good for 75 MPH. Of course the BEST V8 in the 1920's was the 
Wills Sainte Clair with an overhead cam setup patterned after the 
Hispano-Suisa aero engines from World War I. Bob in connecticut
